Westin Gear Lending gives guests the convenience to pack light & stay fit during travels whereby they can get running shoes & apparel at our resort for use during their stay. Westin Gear Lending is our brand program that falls under the Move Well pillar and is part of WestinWORKOUT initiative
Westin partnered with New Balance to provide our guests with shoes, t-shirts, shorts or bottoms during the stay – these are available as per gender (M/F) and in various sizes.
Guests get (as per size) - a fresh t-shirt & skirt/short along with a fresh shoe with a brand new insole and a brand new pair of socks for use during stay. Guests need to return shoes & apparel on check out but do not need to return the socks when returning the kit and we discard the used insoles.
Guests can reserve this pre-stay through SPG Preferences/email to property or at any time during the stay by calling Service Express®.
A very small fee of US$ 5 fee is charged for the full stay to the guest when a fresh set of the full kit is delivered. Should guests want to launder the apparel used – standard laundry charges apply. Should guests need refreshing of the kit (i.e. new in soles/socks etc.) an additional $5 is charged for each time the service is rendered. Damage or failure to return the kit elements on check out has relevant charges applicable.
